Raunik Design Group Project Shortlisted for QLD EMAGN Award
We are pleased to announce that our Tallebudgera Creek Park Amenities project has been shortlisted for the Queensland EMAGN Project Award at the 2025 Gold Coast Regional Architecture Awards!
Responding to the need for an all-inclusive public amenity at the extremely popular creekside park at Tallebudgera, the project focused on the three principles ‘Responsive, Robust and Tactile’ to guide the design. The facility offers male, female, ambulant and accessible amenities, as well as a Changing Places facility.
The planning of the built form was informed primarily by identifying key movement paths of pedestrians and defining axes that linked with the park’s pathways and viewlines to the Creek.
The building’s massing was designed to feel open, light and safe, with two roof planes opening out to the creekfront.
The project saw successful collaboration from the wider consultant team, with much emphasis placed on the building’s interface with the surrounding park, designed by the landscape architects.
With an overall focus on design restraint, the project successfully met the client’s budget whilst achieving an inspiring architectural form.
