Valley House

Nestled amongst the lush greenery of the Tallebudgera Valley, this home was designed for family days on the pool terrace and evenings entertaining friends and family. The clean, contemporary lines of the façade contrast against the disorder of the natural bush setting, but the warmth of the material palette is complementary. Spatially, the interior of the house is also made dramatic through contrast -  a large, double-height kitchen space sits adjacent the low ceiling of the living room. Views are directed through these spaces to the star of the design – a full-height, semi frameless glass wall that makes one feel as if they are sitting in a treehouse.
